The sculpture shows the figure of a man in an oriental costume, in a sitting position with his legs crossed, holding a cup of coffee in his left hand. A man with a fez on his head, sitting in a characteristic oriental manner, legs crossed, and with his left hand bringing a cup (fildžan) with coffee to his mouth, indicates the author's recollection of the culture from which he came. The sculpture is more roughly modeled, with restless surfaces, with traces of the author's fingers, without fine details, and the symmetrical composition and restrained movement suggest peace and contemplation during this almost ritual drinking of coffee.
